Course Outline

This training will utilize strategies from the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to enhance learning in low ability math classes. We will look at dyscalculia in the brain, the natural development of the mathematical mind, and learn practical tips and strategies for developing number sense in low ability learners.

Course Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Understand dyscalculia and related learning goals
  • Familiarize themselves with the three major UDL principles
