Overview

Minimally Invasive Surgical Aesthetic (MISA) treatment demand is rapidly rising in the Middle East region. Therefore, physicians are always looking for ways to update their knowledge and gain more confidence in applying such treatments. Dentists, in particular, are keen to add such services in their practice that come in handy when planning that perfect smile. We are proposing a structured workshop offering our interested candidates a full understanding of the diagnosis and management of aesthetic treatments using Botulinum Toxin and injectable dermal fillers in the head and neck area.


Course Objectives

  • Understand and identify the related head and neck anatomy involved in MISA treatments
  • Recognize the aging process and stages of facial changes
  • Facial Analysis and Assessment
  • Obtain the clinical and technical skills for MISA treatments
  • Avoiding and treating complications associated with MISA treatments


Course Outline

The workshop is a one-day course where candidates will be attending a morning lecture session and observing live demo sessions of treatments discussed. Lectures given in the morning session will cover the following topics:

  • Related Head & Neck Anatomy
  • Introduction Botulinum Toxin
  • Botulinum Toxin Mixing, Preparation and Application
  • Facial Analysis
  • Introduction to Dermal Fillers
  • Minimally invasive augmentation techniques
  • Local Anaesthesia
  • Complications, how to avoid it and how to deal with it

CONFERENCES, HANDS-ON COURSE AND ALL OTHER EVENTS

A refund of the registration fee will be made as follows: Notification in writing must be received 60 days prior to the event: 50% – excluding VAT, bank charges and other charges relates to the payment. Notification in writing must be received 30 days prior to the event: 25% – excluding VAT, bank charges and other charges relates to the payment. Notification received within less than 30 days prior to the event will result in no refund.


PG EDUCATION PROGRAMMES

Dr. Rami Haidar

BDS MFDS RCS (UK) OMFS | Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist | Aesthetics Training Consultant

Dr Rami Haidar Graduated from Cairo and completed his training in the UK in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Following the completion of his training, he became a member of The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and worked for the NHS at University Hospital of Wales as a Specialty Doctor in Facial Surgery.

Dr Haidar expanded his experience in head and neck reconstruction surgery and applied it in Aesthetic Medicine in London where he worked privately in parallel to his NHS job. He moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2012 to join the Oral & Maxillofacial surgery team at the National Guard Hospital as a Specialist Doctor. He continued his aesthetics practice working in one of the most prominent aesthetic clinics in Riyadh and Bahrain.

Academically, Dr Haidar is an accredited International trainer and a regional Speaker in the aesthetic industry. He has given talks across the globe in international conferences and is a key opinion leader in minimally invasive aesthetic surgical procedures.

As of 2022, Dr Rami Haidar is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the College of Dental Medicine, University of Sharjah, UAE.
