- Experienced and efficient in surgical extractions.
- Competent in raising flaps and suturing.
- Has an understand of prosthodontic considerations for single and 2 implants bridge scenarios
Course Overview
- 1 on 1 specialist mentoring for each candidate
- Place 12 implants
- Restore 3 arches with immediate temporary fixed bridges.
- 3 arches place 4 implants in each arch
- Diagnose, treatment plan with CBCT scans and study models.
- Fully and partially guided surgical placement technique
- Learn to restore immediate fixed prostheses and prosthodontic considerations.
- Learn the prosthetic stages and process.
- Pretreatment and post treatment xrays.
- University based course.
- 25 CED points

The Advanced Dentistry Institute
Take a week-long study trip to Chennai, India, where you will stay in 5-star accommodation with breakfast included, with transport to your study venue for the week: The University of Chennai
There you will be appointed your own personal mentor for the week, a professional dental educator, who will guide you through all aspects of implant surgery on real cases.
Diagnose the issues, plan the procedure, perform implant placement surgery from placement to suturing to restoration – all under the close guidance of your mentor. It will be a full week of challenging cases, and upon completion you will have the confidence to use your new skills in your practice back home.

Adelaide dentistry educator Dr Yohan Thomas founded the Advanced Dentistry Institute in 2013 to enable generalist dentists to gain practical skills operating on live patients.
He built the model of the ADI upon five-day courses with one-to-one mentorship, attracting expert dentistry educators from around the world, and upholds those standards in every course.
Student intake is kept low to uphold these standards, 72 candidates per year of students boost their career through ADI.
