Overview
This course is designed to give the participant a comprehensive overview of different procedures that can be used for periodontal regeneration and esthetic root coverage procedures.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the use of different biomaterials and techniques for the treatment of intrabony defects
- Discuss in detail about the Minimally invasive surgical techniques (Papilla preservation techniques, flapless approach)
- Identify the basic and advanced surgical techniques for esthetic root coverage
- Evaluate how to choose sutures and different suturing techniques
- Discuss the postoperative treatment protocol to follow for reconstructive periodontal surgery.

- Lecture: Regenerative periodontal surgery (Papilla preservation flap, MIST, M-MIST, MINST)

- Lecture: Periodontal plastic surgery around teeth and implants (CAF, Tunnel techniques, application of connective tissue graft/collagen matrix)
13:30-15:00
- Hands-on: Minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of intrabony defects
15:30-17:30
- Hands-on: Surgical treatment of single and multiple recession defects

CONFERENCES, HANDS-ON COURSE AND ALL OTHER EVENTS
A refund of the registration fee will be made as follows: Notification in writing must be received 60 days prior to the event: 50% – excluding VAT, bank charges and other charges relates to the payment. Notification in writing must be received 30 days prior to the event: 25% – excluding VAT, bank charges and other charges relates to the payment. Notification received within less than 30 days prior to the event will result in no refund.
PG EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
A refund of the registration fee will be made as follows: 50% refund will be provided (excluding VAT, bank charges and other charges relates to the payment) if CAPP EVENTS & TRAINING receives a notification in writing 3 months prior to the start of the first module. No refund will be given after this date. All notifications must be received in writing.

Prof. Dr. Adrian Kasaj, DDS, MSc, PhD is a Professor of Periodontology in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology at the University Medical Center Mainz, Germany.
In 2016 he was appointed as an extracurricular Professor at the University of Mainz, Germany. Prof. Kasaj has published more than 90 original articles and reviews, lectures extensively in Germany and abroad and serves on several editorial boards and advisory committees.
In 2014 he was awarded the "Doctor honoris causa" (Dr.h.c.) degree by the University of Timisoara, Romania. From 2012 to 2014 he completed the post-graduate program "Master of Science in Oral Implantology" (German Society of Implantology/Steinbeis University). In 2012 he became a Visiting Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Timisoara University, Romania. In 2009 he completed his Ph.D. thesis (Habilitation) and became an Associate Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology, University of Mainz.
From 2002-2009 he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology at the University of Mainz. In 2002 he received his Dr.med.dent degree from the University of Mainz and continued postgraduate training in Periodontology (2002-2005) at the same University. He became a certified Specialist in Periodontology of the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo) in 2006 and also of the European Dental Association (EDA) in 2007.
