Prashant Zaveri profile image

Prashant Zaveri

Prashant completed his master’s degree in Periodontics (1986) and Orthodontics (1989) from University of Bombay. Currently, he is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University of Otago and has a Specialist Orthodontic & Periodontic private practice in Auckland, New Zealand. He has worked as a Senior Consultant and a Certified Trainer and Facilitator for Quality improvement in Health care at Qimpro Institute, an affiliate of Juran International Inc. USA. Currently, Prashant is the president of the New Association of Orthodontists and an Honorary Fellow of the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society.

He is an astute clinician and his unique dual qualification generates interest in his presentations around the world. Prashant has keen interest in Sanskrit language, Vedic Scriptures, and Meditation.



Eric Liou profile image

Eric Liou

DDS, MS

Eric Liou, DDS, MS is an internationally recognized orthodontist, educator, and innovator specializing in craniofacial orthodontics, cleft care, and orthopedic orthodontic treatment. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of Craniofacial Medicine, Chang Gung University, Taiwan, and Vice Superintendent of DentWay International Dental Hospital, Taipei, and serves as a Visiting Professor at Showa University, Tokyo.


Dr. Liou earned his DDS from Taipei Medical University and completed advanced postgraduate training in orthodontics at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He later obtained a Master of Science in Surgery and completed a Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. He is a board-certified orthodontist in Taiwan.


A global leader in the profession, Dr. Liou has served as President of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists, President of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society, and President of the World Implant Orthodontic Association, and currently sits on the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also Editor-in-Chief of APOS Trends in Orthodontics.


Dr. Liou has published 80+ peer-reviewed articles, authored 11 book chapters, and holds multiple U.S. and Taiwanese patents in orthodontic biomechanics. His honors include the Dewel Award, repeated recognition among the World’s Top 2% Scientists, and the 2023 Paul Herren Award, becoming the first Asian orthodontist to receive this distinction.

Nikhillesh Vaiid profile image

Nikhillesh Vaiid

Professor Nikhillesh R Vaiid is the Immediate Past President of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

He is an Adjunct Professor at Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, India and has a Private Practice in Dubai at the Invisalign Centre and in Mumbai, India.

He has widely published and edited journals including the "Seminars in Orthodontics" on four occasions and was the Editor in Chief of “APOS Trends in Orthodontics" from 2010-20. He’s currently EIC- Emeritus of the same. He’s an active member of the Angle Society - North Atlantic component. 

Clinically, he believes in cutting edge technology and patient centred protocols. His philosophy- “patient comfort first” where the journey towards a beautiful smile should be as enriching as the destination. 

He's published more than 160 peer reviewed papers and textbook chapters and has lectured in more than 50 countries around the world.

The important forums at which he has lectured include the AAO Annual Sessions, the International Orthodontic Congresses, ALADA, AOS, APOS and many more.

Prof Vaid's current areas of interest are Evidence Based Decision Making, Technology, Aligners, Orthodontic Rx effects and Management Protocols.

He is passionate about Bollywood, Modern Indian Art, Cricket, Single Malt Whiskies and of-course Orthodontics. 

His mission is to encourage global collaboration in the profession through leadership, advocacy and voluntary service towards professional societies.

Sumit Yadav profile image

Sumit Yadav

Dr. Sumit Yadav is a Professor, Associate Dean of Research, and Chair of the Department of Advanced Specialty Sciences. He is an Endowed Chair in Orthodontics. He has published extensively, with more than 170 peer-reviewed articles, and his research is funded by the NIH and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. He serves as a member of the Planning and Review Committee of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.


Dr. Yadav has received comprehensive training in dentistry, orthodontics, and business management. After earning a BDS (Manipal University, 2002) and an MDS in Orthodontics (Rajiv Gandhi University, 2006), he completed a PhD in Dental Sciences (Indiana University–Purdue University, 2010) and a Certificate in Orthodontics (University of Connecticut, 2013). To further strengthen his leadership and management expertise, he completed the Management Acceleration Program at UCLA Anderson (2021), earned an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg (2022), and obtained a Master’s in the Business of Orthodontics from Wharton (2022).

Aron Dellinger profile image

Aron Dellinger

Dr. Aron Dellinger is a board-certified orthodontist known for his dedication to clinical excellence, innovation, and leadership within the orthodontic profession. He earned his BA in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1992, followed by his DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996. He completed his MSD in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University in 1998.

Upon graduation, Dr. Dellinger joined Orthodontic Specialty Services in Northern Indiana, where he practiced alongside his father, brother, and uncle. He had the privilege of working closely with his father and mentor, Dr. Gene Dellinger, until his passing in 2020—a period Dr. Dellinger considers foundational to his professional growth.

Dr. Dellinger is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the prestigious E.H. Angle Midwest Society. Throughout his career, he has served in numerous leadership positions within the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. Most recently, he serves as Secretary General of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

An innovator in his field, Dr. Dellinger holds two patents related to a unique magnetic retention system. His professional contributions have been recognized with honors including the AAO Foundation’s Raymond George Sr. Award for Outstanding Donated Orthodontic Service and the Saint Louis University CADE Outstanding Alumni Award. He is also a sought-after lecturer for orthodontic programs across the country.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Dellinger enjoys spending time with his family, exploring great food, and traveling.

Jorge Castillo profile image

Jorge Castillo

DDS, MdentSci, MSD, PhD

Dr Jorge L. Castillo (DDS, MdentSci, MSD, PhD) is a distinguished pediatric dentist and orthodontist with advanced degrees from the University of Connecticut and the University of Washington, and a PhD from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia.

He serves as Professor at the Department of Stomatology for Children and Adolescents at UPCH and as Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Health Sciences at the University of Washington.

A Diplomate of both the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr Castillo has held leadership roles in multiple professional organisations, including President of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) (2013‑2015; 2021‑2023) and member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists for 2025‑2030.

He has published extensively in indexed journals and lectured internationally across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Letizia Perillo profile image

Letizia Perillo

Letizia Perillo is Full Professor and Head of the Department of Multidisciplinary Medical-Surgical and Dental Specialties, as well as Head of the Orthodontic Unit, at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Naples, Italy.

She is Past Dean of the School of Dentistry and former Chair of the NEBEOP Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the same university. Prof. Perillo also serves as Visiting Professor at the University of Alexandria, Egypt, and at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. She is currently President of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and has previously served as President of both the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO) and the Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project (MOIP).

Prof. Perillo is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the AAO, EHASO, EOS, SIDO, MOIP, SIOCMF, and the Charles H. Tweed Foundation, and serves on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals.

She received her degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1986 and completed her specialization in Orthodontics in 1989 at the University of Naples Federico II. She subsequently undertook advanced orthodontic training as a fellow at the University of Michigan in 1993 and earned a PhD in Interceptive Orthodontics from the University of Florence in 1997.

Prof. Perillo is the author of approximately 300 scientific publications, as well as 9 books and 10 book chapters. She has been an invited speaker at international congresses in more than 30 countries.


Her main research interests include early orthodontic treatment, non-extraction therapy, dentofacial orthopedics, cleft lip and palate, and genetics.

Mike Papadopoulus profile image

Mike Papadopoulus

Dr. Moschos A. Papadopoulos serves as Professor of Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, at the Universities of Messina, Sicily and of Naples, Italy, and at the University of Iasi, Romania, as well as Collaborating Professor at the European University Miguel de Cervantes, Valladolid, Spain. He is Honorary Member of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society, he was the founder and served as first President of the Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists, and as President of the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece. 

Dr. Papadopoulos is Honorary Editor of the "Hellenic Orthodontic Review", was Asst. Editor of the "World Journal of Orthodontics” and is/was Member of the Editorial Board of 21 peer reviewed journals, and Reviewer for 47 journals. He is also active member in more than 23 national and international societies. 

Dr. Papadopoulos received several awards and distinctions, such as the "Joseph E. Johnson Clinical Award” and the "Turpin Award for Evidence-Based Research” from the AAO, the “Regional Award of Merit” from the WFO, the “Special Achievement Award” from the BAOS, as well as the “Francesca Miotti Award” and the “FEO Excellence Award” from the European Federation of Orthodontics. Dr. M. A. Papadopoulos is also included for four consecutive years in the Stanford List of the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2022-2025).

His main clinical and research interests include the subjects of "noncompliance orthodontic treatment", "temporary anchorage devices in orthodontics", and "evidence-based orthodontics". 

Dr. Papadopoulos has written the books "Orthodontic treatment for the Class II non-compliant patient", "Skeletal anchorage in orthodontic treatment of Class II malocclusion", and "Cleft lip and palate", edited the Greek translation of the book “Contemporary Orthodontics” from Proffit et al., has published more than 250 scientific publications, and has presented almost 500 lectures, courses and papers worldwide.

Marie A Cornelis profile image

Marie A Cornelis

Marie A Cornelis received both her dental degree (1999) and postgraduate specialist degree in orthodontics (2003) from the University of Louvain, in Brussels, Belgium. In 2007, she was visiting research scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. She defended her PhD about miniplates as temporary skeletal anchorage in Brussels in 2008. Between 2009 and 2014, she was Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Geneva, Switzerland. From 2014 to 2020, she was Associate Professor and Postgraduate Program Director of Orthodontics, Department of Dentistry, Aarhus University, Denmark, and in 2015 she became Head of Section. In 2021, Marie became Professor and Head of Orthodontics at the Melbourne Dental School (Australia).

Marie was awarded the WJB Houston Oral Research Award of the European Orthodontic Society in 2008 and the Dewel award twice (best clinical paper in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics); in 2012 as an author and in 2023 as first author. She is an Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe and a full member of the European Board of Orthodontists. Marie is also Associate Editor for Seminars in Orthodontics and is an Editorial Board member of the Australasian Orthodontic Journal. Her research interests are focused on clinical orthodontics, mainly skeletal anchorage, digital workflows and retention. She has authored over 65 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and book chapters.

Kau Chung How profile image

Kau Chung How

Dr. Chung H. Kau is Professor and Department Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Clinical Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (USA), a Specialist Orthodontist registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and has completed Specialist Registration with the General Dental Council (UK). He also holds a full license to practice in several US states, including Arizona, California, Washington State, and Vermont.

Dr. Kau serves as the Director of the Craniofacial Orthodontia Clinic in partnership with the Children’s Rehabilitation Service and Medicaid of Alabama. He actively practices clinical orthodontics, with special interests in craniofacial anomalies and dento-facial deformities.

He is also a dedicated researcher with a strong focus on clinical translational research, particularly in dento-facial deformities, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, accelerated tooth movement, and 4D jaw tracking. Currently, he serves as Principal Investigator on multiple NIH and industry grants, with total research involvement exceeding USD 4 million.

Dr. Kau actively contributes to orthodontic literature and has authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications, conference papers, and lectures. He has delivered more than 150 invited presentations across over 50 countries worldwide.

In 2011, he was awarded the prestigious King James IV Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he also served as International Advisor for the USA and as an examiner for the MFDS and MOrth examinations. He has additionally been conferred Visiting Professorships at the University of Debrecen, Nanjing Medical University, the University of Szeged, and Xi’an Jiaotong University.

1. General Terms of Use

The digital event platform gives you access to the digital part of the event. For more details about this, please see Section 2.

The digital event platform and its features shall not be used for purposes other than those intended. Therefore, please use the platform only to the extent permitted by law and in accordance with our terms of use. If you violate any applicable Singapore law or our terms of use, we reserve the right to exclude you from using the digital event platform.

Using the platform does not give you ownership to any copyrights or industrial property rights.


2. Platform Features

After purchasing/receiving an event ticket or exhibitor pass, you can use the access data provided to enter the digital event platform of the event for which the ticket/pass is valid and, depending on the type of ticket/pass, access the following platform features.

a) Basic features:

  • Exhibitors/Products: These contain the profile pages and information of all exhibitors at the event, access to their individual showrooms, details about their contact persons, and a link to their multimedia files. In the showrooms, you will also be able to send meeting requests or express your interest to exhibitors, recommend them to others, and bookmark them.
  • Program/Session/Agenda: Information about the event’s speakers and sessions as well as conference content streaming and video on demand.
  • Planning: Bookmark interesting companies, sessions, and people.
  • Networking: In this area, you will be able to view your connections with exhibitors or participants and find new contacts.
  • Communication: Audio/video communication with participants registered on the event’s digital event platform.
  • Content: Other information about the event.
  • We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, take down, or interrupt the operation of these basic features at any time and without separate notice for any reason, for example to the extent necessary to perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance work, troubleshooting, or make other changes.

b) Networking feature and settings:

  • The networking feature gives users the opportunity to connect and network directly with other attendees registered on the event’s digital event platform. The platform distinguishes between “public participants” and “private participants” in the event. This distinction is relevant in terms of whether and when the respective contact is available to you for networking.
  • “Public participants” are (i.) the persons designated by the respective exhibitor and those (ii.) who provide a certain service within the scope of an agreement with Koelnmesse, such as speakers or hosts. These persons are basically available for the networking feature in the context of fulfilling the contract.
  • Public attendees also include (iii.) trade attendees who have not disabled the networking feature.
  • “Private participants” are all Participants who have disabled the Networking feature. These people, if they have disabled this feature, will be removed from the People directory.
  • The networking feature is activated by default. However, you can disable it in your profile at any time as well as activate it again after deactivation itself. For the purpose of using this feature, we will import your contact data from our other systems (e.g. ticket shop or CRM system) into the platform. You can then add or complete this data at any time in the platform.


3. Rules of Conduct, User Obligations, Prohibition of Misuse

When using the platform, you agree to abide by the basic principles of “netiquette”. Anyone who violates these principles may be excluded from using the platform.

Furthermore, you agree to only provide complete and correct information in your profile.

You also agree to keep your access data, including passwords, for this platform secret and adequately protect them from unauthorized use. You must inform Koelnmesse immediately if you suspect in any way that there has been any unauthorized disclosure of your access data and/or passwords and/or any unauthorized access.

Moreover, you shall be responsible for ensuring that the content you share on the digital platform (e.g. via links) does not contain any viruses, worms, or Trojan horses. You shall be liable for compensating Koelnmesse for any damages incurred as a result of non-compliance with these obligations due to a fault of your own and shall also release Koelnmesse from any claims brought by third parties, including legal fees.

The misuse of platform features is not permitted. This particularly includes the automated reading of data as well as the automated sending of requests or messages to other platform users. You agree to refrain from doing anything that could jeopardize or disrupt the functioning of the digital platform. It is also prohibited to distribute illegal content, address people in an inappropriate or discriminatory way, or ask them for private information (e.g. gender, age, or place of residence).

It is not permitted to share or disseminate content that violates third-party rights, in particular patent rights, utility model rights, copyrights, trademark rights, design rights, or similar third-party property rights, or other legal regulations, in particular criminal law and youth protection law. Commercial advertising and links to advertising as well as excessively long texts in chat forums are not welcome. In the event of a violation of this, we reserve the right to exclude you from further using the platform.


4. Liability

Koelnmesse makes no guarantees with respect to the availability, reliability, functionality, or suitability of the platform for your purposes. Unless mandatory liability is provided under prevailing Singapore liability laws, standards and regulations, liability shall be excluded due to willful intent, gross negligence, injury to life, limb, or health, assumption of a guarantee of quality, fraudulent concealment of a defect, or breach of essential contractual obligations.

Essential contractual obligations are those obligations whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of a contract and the fulfillment of which the contracting parties may regularly rely on.

Damages for breach of essential contractual obligations shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract, provided such a breach is not attributed to willful intent or gross negligence.


5. Termination

You may terminate the contract for using the platform, including the networking features, at any time without providing reasons by sending an email to [email protected]

Koelnmesse also has the right to terminate the contract for use of the platform for just cause. Just cause may include, for example, violation of the provisions contained in Section 4 of these general terms of use.


6. Applicable Law

These terms of use are subject to Singapore law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms of use shall be Singapore including all questions relating to the existence, validity, or termination of these terms of use.


7. Severability clause

Each provision of these terms of use shall be construed separately and independently. If any provision of these terms of use is invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms of use shall not be affected thereby. In such a case, the provision in question shall only be limited or deleted to the extent strictly necessary and replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the intended purpose of these terms of use.
