About
College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore is a non-profit, non-political organisation set up to bring together general dental practitioners who are committed to improving standards of care in their practices.
Our Mission
- To encourage and maintain high standards of patient care
- To encourage and assist in the continuing education of dental practitioners
- To encourage and initiate research in clinical dentistry
- To encourage improvement in general practice management
- To enhance provision of primary dental care
- To foster good relations between GDPs and other allied professions
- To keep GDPs informed on matters affecting dental practice and related subjects.
Our History
A group of general dentists, who were in the pioneer batch of successful candidates of the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons (England), conceived the idea for a College of General Dental Practitioners in 1998.
