Global Education of Manual Therapists (GEMt) has been operating for many years now. Robert De Nardis first presented in 2003 on topics related to Whiplash, mechanical neck pain, TMJ and the BTE Multi-Cervical Unit neck rehabilitation program. GEMt officially started in 2008, and our goal is to offer world class educational courses to manual therapists around the globe. Our courses offer both clinically specific information and ongoing support programs to ensure your satisfaction and success.
The first courses we have released are our Dry Needling courses. They have been very well received and will benefit manual therapists and clinicians who work with patients and athletes suffering acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. GEMt has several more course in the pipeline and they will be released shortly. As our brand has become synonymous with quality education, we also welcome quality educators to present their courses under the GEMt banner. If you would like to showcase your course to our extensive list of GEMt graduates.
GEMt currently offers dry needling courses in Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia, and are designed to deliver accredited, graduate courses in trigger point dry needling (TDN) for all forms of manual therapy. An effective treatment for myofascial pain, trigger point dry needling (TDN) uses the stimulation of trigger points with fine filament needles to reduce muscular pain and dysfunction. Dry needling is now used to effectively treat acute and chronic orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
GEMt offers dry needling courses year round in multiple locations. Visit our Course Dates page for more information about a course near you. In addition, GEMt actively encourages regional clinics to host us onsite. Onsite hosting ensures that your entire clinic staff is up to date with dry needling techniques, and has uniform skill at applying those techniques.
