Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to apply mobilisation techniques that can be used independently or progressed into manipulation techniques when clinically indicated. This dual approach ensures that you’re fully equipped to handle a variety of upper limb dysfunctions, from common to complex musculoskeletal conditions.

By the end of this course, you’ll have a deeper understanding of upper limb dysfunctions that frequently present in clinical practice, empowering you to confidently diagnose and treat conditions such as:

  • Sternoclavicular Joint Sprain
  • Acromioclavicular Joint Sprain
  • Sub-Acromial Bursitis
  • Rotator Cuff Pathology
  • Medial and Lateral Epicondylitis
  • Carpal Tunnel


Lead Presenter Dr Martin Ojea / Lead Demonstrator Dr Michael Ojea

  • A degree qualification in either: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Occupational Therapists and Sports Medicine (with a strong background in manual therapy)
  • You must have current professional registration and appropriate Indemnity Insurance
  • Course participants are required to both perform and receive joint manipulation as required for the duration of the course
  • This course is not advisable for anyone with any conditions that prevent complete involvement (unless they are prepared to bring a friend willing to undergo joint manipulation on their behalf).

Transfers within the same region:
If you wish to transfer to another GEMt course within the same region, the following fees will be incurred:
(i) Outside of 30 days of course commencement = FREE transfer to the requested course
(ii) Under 30 days of course commencement = 25% administration charge
(iii) Under 14 days of course commencement = 50% administration charge

Transfers between regions incur the following charges:
(i) Outside of 30 days of course commencement = 25% administration charge
(ii) Under 30 days of course commencement = 50% administration charge
(iii) Under 14 days of course commencement = 75% administration charge

Cancellation:
(i) Outside 30 days of course commencement = 25% administration charge
(ii) Under 30 days of course commencement = 75% administration charge
(iii) Under 14 days of course commencement = 100% administration charge, i.e. no refund
