Overview

Dr. Tashiro is back for the 4th time in as many years to impart his knowledge and skill in the handling and management of composite resins. His widely sought after course will be focused on direct restorations of composite resins for the upper anterior teeth (aesthetic zone) emphasizing on minimally invasive techniques and resin layering techniques which will provide another dimension of treatment options to practitioners of aesthetic dentistry to provide to their patients.


In this course, Dr. Tashiro will demonstrate the techniques required for a predictable, aesthetic outcome in restoring defective anterior teeth in various scenarios: among them are Class IV defects, diastema closures or Anterior Resin Bonded Bridges.


ABSTRACT OF HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

This program will see you through the introduction of Dr. Tashiro’s "JT Concept". The focus will be on direct restorations of composite resins for anterior and posterior teeth through 6 cases. Step by step information will be covered including an in-depth theoretical session at the start of each case covering aspects of preparation, bonding techniques and much more.


The methodology of treating these will be discussed and demonstrated comprehensively in the lectures and hands-on session. This exciting lecture and hands-on program will equip its participants with a multitude of ideas capable of immediate clinical implementation.


It is a MUST ATTEND event for all experienced and aspiring young dentist who intend to explore the realm of aesthetic dentistry in greater depth.


Providers Terms

The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the course should unforeseen circumstances occur. In the event the course is unable to proceed and the organizer cancels the course for any reason whatsoever, fees paid for the course shall be fully refunded. The organizer shall not be liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to such cancellation, including, but not limited to, airfare, hotel expenses, cancellation penalties and any other private expenses.


Should the participant cancel his/her registration/participation in the course or is unable to attend the course due to any unforeseen circumstances, the following shall apply subject to the participant’s notification of such cancellation to the organizer in writing:

  • If notification of cancellation is given more than 6 months prior to the start of the course, fees paid for the course shall be fully refunded, subject to a deduction of SGD100 for administration and bank charges.
  • If notification of cancellation is given 4 - 6 months prior to the start of the course, 75% of fees paid for the course shall be refunded.
  • If notification of cancellation is given 2 – 4 months prior to the start of the course, 50% of fees paid for the course shall be refunded.
  • If notification of cancellation is given 1 - 2 months prior to the start of the course, 25% of fees paid for the course shall be refunded.
  • If notification of cancellation is given less than 1 month prior to the start of the course, there shall be no refund of any fees/money paid for the course.


The organiser reserves the right to amend or substitute any of the above from time to time as they deem fit.

Dr. Hirofumi Tashiro

Dr. Hirofumi Tashiro obtained his DDS from the prestigious Tokyo Medical Dental University in 1999. He then continued to further pursue his passion in dentistry and obtained his PHD in 2003 from the same prestigious university. His passion in the study of composite resin material and the management of its behaviour, is evident from the numerous publications and presentations cum lectures that he has done throughout Japan. His dedication to the study, perfection and handling of composite resin has been further reflected in the publication of his books on the topic, the most recent one in 2015 titled “Basics and Trends of Composite Resin”. Concurrent with his hectic academic program, he is also currently the President of Direct Restoration Academy of Composite Resin since 2013 and holds the position of Assistant Professor of the Tokyo Medical Dental University and Fukuoka Dental University since 2007 and 2015 respectively. Dr. Tashiro has also been conducting successful Masterclass courses within Japan, promoting his creation of the ‘JT Concept’ in which the popularity of his course has seen it continue to its 6th installment. His ability to impart his knowledge on a subject that he is so passionate about has made him a very sought after presenter and also a spokesperson for Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc and Tokuyama Dental Corporation.
