Ady Kim

Presenter, Malaysia

Ady Kim is GEMt’s regional Instructor and director of Biorehab Physiotherapy Centre in Malaysia. He has more than ten years of experience in the industry and has worked with world-leading athletes as well as various local sports teams.

Apart from teaching regularly in Malaysia, in 2018 Ady successfully conducted the first Dry Needling course in Cambodia for a group of Physiotherapists and Osteopaths from the Netherlands and France who were working in the country.

In 2011, Ady introduced Dry Needling into Malaysia, which at the time was not a widespread practice in the country. While it started to become more popular, after a few years of practising, Ady felt that his Dry Needling skills had plateaued and that there was a piece missing in the puzzle.

Ady contacted Robert De Nardis from GEMt Australia in 2014 and completed the accredited GEMt Introductory and Advanced courses, which advanced his needling skills, and took his understanding of the human body to a new level.

The introduction of Dry Needling and the skills acquired through GEMt has been successful in Ady’s practice and has brought it to new heights.

Under their collaboration, Ady & Robert have successfully trained hundreds of health professionals in Malaysia, and the demand is still growing strong.
