Dental emergencies and dental injuries are distressing for both children and parents, however, they are extremely common. About 25 - 30% of children have experienced some type of dental injury or dental emergency. It often becomes a challenge to the clinicians due to the psychological impact of emergency situation itself. Knowing what to do and the way you react can make a difference between saving and harming their smile and their health.

Workshop: Dental Splinting
Avulsion of permanent anterior tooth is one of the most serious dental injuries. A prompt and correct emergency management is very important for the prognosis. Replantation of the avulsed tooth and a proper splinting is one crucial step that can be improved by proper skill practice.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the course should unforeseen circumstances occur. In the event the course is unable to proceed and the organizer cancels the course for any reason whatsoever, fees paid for the course shall be fully refunded. The organizer shall not be liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to such cancellation, including, but not limited to, airfare, hotel expenses, cancellation penalties and any other private expenses.
Should the participant cancel his/her registration/participation in the course or is unable to attend the course due to any unforeseen circumstances, the following shall apply subject to the participant’s notification of such cancellation to the organizer in writing:

Dr. Kwanchanok Youcharoen
Dr. Kwanchanok Youcharoen is a specialist in pediatric dentistry. She joined WeCare Dental Clinic as a founder and partner in 2007. Since then, she has been on the WeCare Pedodontic (also known as Pediatric Dentistry) team. As for her other role, Dr. Youcharoen also works full time as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry under the Faculty of Dentistry at Srinakharinwirot University since 1997. For her 20 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, she received a certification from the Thai Board of Pediatric Dentistry (R.C.D.S. Thailand) in 2013.
Dr. Kulaya Ratanapridakul
Dr. Kulaya Ratanapridakul is one of the most respected Pediatric Dentists in Thailand. She served as the President of the Thai Society of Pediatric Dentistry during which she contributed much to the development of its professional excellence and better oral health for Thai children. She also served in the 4th Administrative Board Committee of the Royal College of Dental Surgeon of Thailand (R.C.D.S. Thailand). In addition, Dr. Ratanapridakul was also the founder of the Thai Dental Safety Committee. At present, she serves on the Advisory Board of the Thai Dental Clinic Accreditation Committee under the Thai Dental Council. Dr. Ratanapridakul is active in teaching. She currently lectures the Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry under the Faculty of Dentistry of the Chulalongkorn University and the Post-Graduate International Program in Orthodontics under the Faculty of Dentistry in Mahidol University in Thailand.
