Psychologists are required to undergo Continuing Professional Development throughout their careers to develop the personal and professional qualities required in the exercise of their profession. All practising Psychologists are required to develop a learning plan based on objective self-assessment. They would need to complete a 10-hour window of peer consultation activities annually and complete 20 hours of other CPD activities annually. Maintaining a CPD portfolio is crucial to record the learning plan, activity log, and reflection, and submitting the portfolio to AHPRA within 28 days if selected for audit.
